Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to fuel our sales pipeline and drive early-stage engagement with potential customers. In this role, you will identify, qualify, and generate new business leads, laying the foundation for our sales team to close deals. You will play a critical part in helping organizations discover how Observo AI’s solutions can reduce costs and improve security and observability performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting efforts, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to identify potential customers.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, events, and other channels.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and business objectives, positioning Observo AI’s solutions as the best fit.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to set up meetings and hand over qualified leads for further engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress, ensuring timely follow-ups and lead tracking.
  • Assist in refining sales outreach strategies by sharing insights and feedback from initial prospect interactions.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and Observo AI’s product developments to articulate value effectively.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably in technology or software solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and persuade prospects.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience or familiarity with industry-leading tools and platforms in security and observability [Log tools, APMs, SIEMs i.e Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Cribl, etc.].
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
